Mosaica Online Academy of Arizona students and their parents/guardians participate in online orientation courses prior to the start of their first school year in the online program. The orientation courses help our families prepare for the upcoming school year and gain an overall understanding of what an online school program will entail.

Parent Orientation covers the following topics:

  • Attendance and Accountability
  • Late Work Policy
  • Student computers
  • Communication and Response Time
  • Student Support
  • Parent/Guardian Support

Student Orientation covers the following topics:

  • A Guided Tour of D2L (Mosaica's Online Learning Environment)
  • How To Access Courses, Materials, and Recordings
  • Attendance and Accountability
  • Late Work Policy
  • Getting Help
  • Student Services and Community Activities
  • Grades 6-12 students will participate in a series of interactive online modules prior to classes starting. The 10 interactive modules will provide skills to help students succeed in school now and in the future. Students will learn about taking ownership, organization, time management and much more. After completion, students can begin their successful online education

Families will receive information about the online orientation courses via email a few weeks prior to their first semester attending Mosaica Online Academy of Arizona.

We know families are busy these days, and it just might be 11pm by the time you can sit down and review your child's schoolwork. So we make it easy for you to complete your parent/guardian orientation and all other parent/guardian online workshops, paperwork, etc. any time of the day that is convenient for you. With your "all access" parent/guardian login to our Learning Management System, you can watch recorded sessions, virtually sign forms, and check your child's grades 24/7 from any device.
